What is OpenMember?
OpenMember is a platform that enables monetization and management of your Telegram group or channel.
What is Telegram?
Telegram is one of the world's most popular messaging applications, with over 550M monthly users. It can be used on almost any device including iOS, Android, PC & Mac.
Do I need a Telegram channel?
You don't need a pre-existing Telegram channel or group, but you will need to set one up during the OpenMember onboarding.
When can I start using OpenMember?
We're currently in development and allowing a small number of communities to test out our platform. If you believe you should be included, please email us at welcome@openmember.co with details on why!
How much does OpenMember cost?
OpenMember has no monthly fee, we only take a small percentage of each transaction (5%) so we don't make money until you do. This feel helps us continue to develop new features and provide great support for our merchants and subscribers.
When will I get paid from my subscribers?
OpenMember creates a direct payment relationship between you and your subscribers, meaning you'll be paid out on the day they make payment, we never hold your money!
What permissions does OpenMember need?
Our bot will need the 'Add Subscribers' permissions in order to properly add members when they start paying, and remove them immediately when they stop.
